Note: To have the “L” restriction removed from your CDL license you must successfully complete the four parts of the air brake check.

  • Air Gauge and Governor Cutoff
  • Air Leakage Rate
  • Air Warning Device(s)
  • Emergency Brake
• * Hydraulic Brake Check
  • Determine Normal Brake Pedal Height
  • Leak Test
